Emma Jane Quinnett

Emma Jane Quinnett, 86, was born October 22, 1931, in Econtuchka, OK to parents Frank Sr. & Anna Kubicek and passed away December 8, 2017, at her home in Edmond, OK, with family at her side. Emma Jane married David E. Quinnett, April 7, 1951, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Shawnee, OK and was married for almost 65 years. David E. Quinnett preceded Emma in death, on January 5th, 2016. The couple previously resided in Econtuchka, Shawnee and Guthrie, OK. They attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, Ok.

Emma farmed with her husband in Econtuchka and worked for the Department of Human Resources. She enjoyed family camping and fishing, cooking, quilting, sewing, but most of all, family gatherings. After retirement, David and Jane enjoyed traveling extensively around the United States in their RV, making new friends and finding new places to explore.

Emma is survived by her five children Cheri and her husband Bill Grundmann of Tigard, Oregon, David B. & wife Terena Quinnett of Oklahoma City, Paul & wife Anna Quinnett of Tomball, TX, Chris & wife Cindy Quinnett of Mannford, OK, and John & wife Beverly Quinnett of Edmond, OK. Jane is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Dr. Michael & wife Amanda Grundmann of San Jose, CA, David & wife Jessica Grundmann of Westborough, MA, Sara, Paul Jr., Noah, Abigail, and Hannah Quinnett of Tomball, TX, Lydia(Quinnett) & husband David Huber, Spring TX, Christopher Jr. & wife Holly of Claremore, OK, Captain Craig & wife Molly Quinnett of Minot, ND, and Jessica Quinnett of Edmond, OK. Jane also had 5 great-grandchildren Roland Grundmann of San Jose, CA, Allen Grundmann of Westborough, MA, Austin Quinnett of Minot, ND and Chloe Huber of Spring, TX, and Isabelle Huber (deceased).

On Wednesday December 13th a vigil service will be at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK, at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am December 14th, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 900 S. Littler Ave., Edmond. Committal services will be 2:30pm, December 14th, at Resthaven Memorial Park 16006 S. Rock Creek Rd., Shawnee, OK.
