Ernest Max Kohler

Ernest was born on February 20, 1938 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to parents Carl A. and Ruby (Mason) Kohler.

He attended all the Edmond schools and graduated from Edmond High School on 1956.

He was a graduate from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska with a degree in Theology in 1963. He was a Seventh Day Adventist. He worked as the treasurer for the Texaco Conference in Amarillo, Texas. Ernest was known as a generous and unselfish man and enjoyed helping others.

Ernest is survived by his wife Sharlyn Kay Kohler (married for 54 years); sister Kay LeJuan Fleharty; two sons Ernie Kohler Jr. and wife Theresa, and Christopher Carl Kohler; two granddaughters Katie and

husband Geri Moreno, and Rachel Kohler; and one great-granddaughter Adelle Moreno.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Larry Kohler.

A visitation for Ernest will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK.

A funeral service will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Baggerley Funeral Home.
