Esther graduated from Edmond High School and finished studies at Draughon Business College in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed horses and rode in barrel races in local rodeo contests.
Esther was a Christian and attended First Baptist Church in Edmond before moving to Memphis, TN. She married Glenn Drennon in 1952. They moved to Memphis where she worked as an Executive Secretary for a building architectural firm and he worked in construction, building hospitals. After retirement, Esther purchased an organ and enjoyed playing it at home.
After several years, they purchased a home in Edmond and moved back home to be near family. In 1994, Glenn died. Esther began working as a Legal Secretary for Edmond attorney Paul Walters and worked until she was 89 years old. She was extremely skilled, pleasant and had a sharp mind.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by her brother, David H. Sadler and wife Sammy Lou of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was a loving, devoted aunt to each one of her 28 nephews and nieces, treating each one as "special" to her. She also has many great- nephews and nieces. Many of whom came to visit in Sadler family reunions.
Esther will be buried next to her husband Glenn in Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
