Surrounded by loved ones, Floyd Lowell Meade passed away on December 10, 2014 at OU Medical in Edmond, OK. He was born on January 20, 1937 in Wichita, KS to his parents Clifton and Lucy (Stamback) Meade. He graduated from University of Kansas, and then he spent his professional career as a petroleum engineer. His main focus in his life was his family, whom he loved and adored. He is survived by his wife Jane Meade; daughter Sherry Weathers, son Stan Meade and daughter Jenni Leese and husband Carol; sister Barbara Rauckman. He is also survived by his grandchildren Charley Weathers, Stephanie Keith and husband Daniel, Janie Weathers, Baylor Leese and Abbie Leese. Memorial services for Floyd Lowell Meade will be held at 2pm, Sunday, December 14th, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Edmond, OK. Rev. Dr. Mateen Elass will officiate the service.
