Glynda was born on June 24, 1945, in Odessa, Texas, had a rich and loving life centered on her family and simple pleasures. She experienced living in California, Texas, and New Mexico before settling in Oklahoma.
Glynda enjoyed the little but valued things in life like laughing at dirty jokes and sarcasm. Her fondness for music included artists like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, and Elvis, reflecting her love for country-western tunes. Above all, her family held the utmost importance in her life, especially her grandkids, whom she adored and loved to spoil. Her grandchildren and family gatherings were moments she cherished deeply.
Glynda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Beauregard Ramsey and Ina Bell Forsythe, her brother J.B, and three sisters, Maxine, Lois, and Pat, and lastly her granddaughter Andrea.
She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-nine years, John, and their children: John and his wife Kristine of Hermitage, Tennessee, and William and his wife Krista of Guthrie, Oklahoma. Glynda's legacy continues through her four grandchildren: Kennedy, Liam, Ramsey, and Lincoln, who brought her immense joy. Additionally, she leaves behind seven nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.
Throughout her life, Glynda Reppond exemplified the values of love, laughter, and family unity, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate to have known her.
A memorial service for Glynda will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK.
