Jacquelene "Jackie" Evelyn Libby, 42, was born November 1, 1976, in Sioux City, Iowa, and passed away April 4, 2019.

She was known for her sarcasm and great sense of humor. But most of all, everyone knew her best for her giving spirit.

Many times we find ourselves surrounded by darkness and we make the choice to let our light shine. Jackie found a way to let the light shine regardless.

Jackie is survived by her six children whom she loved more than anything: Alex (22), Maya (20), Ethan (16), Jada (13), Logan (12), and Zara (1).

Some people try to change the world, few actually do.

I am in shock!!!!! I worked with Jackie at AT&T for a short period before she left the company. She spoke about the movie Bully. Very sweet young lady. She is same age as my son, and I sooo feel and pray for the family. May God wrap you all in his loving caring arms and comfort you all during and after this tragic period.

My heart is breaking right now. This lady was amazing. I sat on the learning disability association board for 2 years. I was getting my real estate license and cramming for my boards while attending a national conference here in Des Moines. I was required to watch the movie Bully. It was about a student that was bullied on a bus and at school right here in Iowa and the school did nothing about it. It was Jackie's son Alex. After the movie/documentary there was a panel of people for questions a d both Alex and Jackie were there. During one of the breaks Jackie came up to me to chat. I was one of the only women at this conference. We hit it off. We exchanged special ed stories and bullying stories. Once the panel of people started back with questions she called me out. She stood up and said this lady right here gets it. She knows what is going on and you all need to learn from here right here in Des Moines. I felt like I wanted to die down in my chair. She was right. I got it. We became friends and have had great chats. She moved from Iowa to Oklahoma. She couldn't deal with the state anymore. She would tell me about how she would see Garth Brooks all the time just going for a walk. No big deal there. A year ago she had a baby girl and she'd post cute video about her baby dancing. I will miss her so much. Please pray for her 6 children she leaves behind. Please watch bully. Never let her work she did stop. Stop Bullying! RIP Jacquelene Libby
