He was born September 7, 1954 in Edmond, where he was raised by his late parents, James Allen and Susan W. Hargrove. James was a member of the 1974 class of Edmond Memorial High School.
Jimmy specialized in Property Management. He owned and operated Hargrove Property Enterprise, LLC, a commercial and residential leasing company.
He loved hotrods and motorcycles. His passion was their restoration and bringing them back to life his way. He won numerous awards at Darryl Starbird’s National Rod and Custom Car Shows and International Championship Auto Shows. He was admired and recognized for his unique design in the reconstruction of custom motorcycles. Jimmy was an avid Harley Davidson biker, and loved the outdoor life. He loved the bald eagle for its freedom to fly.
Mr. Hargrove was a supporter of Wounded Warriors. He was a Sooner fan and loved spending time with Donna, his family, and his biker family.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife Vicki Hargrove and sister-in-law Janis Hargrove.
Jimmy is survived by his longtime partner Donna Evans; two siblings Linda Foster-Jones (Diana Jones) of Norman and Charles Hargrove of Lawrenceburg, IN; two nieces Rachel Millsap (Reagan) of Moore and Jennifer Earnheart (Anthony) of Greendale, IN; nephew Chad Hargrove of Lawrenceburg, IN; one great-nephew Oliver Earnheart; and three great nieces Siena Hargrove, Addison Earnheart, and Ava Millsap.
