Jimmie Walker

Jimmie was born on September 15, 1933 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Melvin and Dorothy Walker. He lived part of his life in California, but he spent majority of his life in Oklahoma.

He loved riding horses and water skiing. He was quite the show off on the water.

On June 6, 1952 Jimmie married the love of his life, Lyda Richardson. Upon his passing, they had been married just short of 70 years.

Jimmie worked at Macklenburg Duncan for 43 years. He started working in maintenance and had worked his way up to Director of Manufacturing before retiring.

Jimmie loved traveling with his wife in their motor home and spending time with his four children, Debbie Bailey (Gary), Barbara Vick (Lynn), Jerry Walker (Donna), and Jamie Walker (deceased). He had seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He had two men he considered to be his best friends, Ben Sasser and Bill Knox. His favorite times were when the whole family would get together for September birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jackie; sisters: Darlene, Shirley, Arletta and Ann; and daughter, Jamie Dawn.
