Born to Tom and Ruby Anthony on February 22, 1966, in Ponca City, Lorie was the youngest of three children. At the age of 8, she was diagnosed with diabetes, which caused many complications throughout her life. In spite of her many health issues and medical needs, Lorie kept a smile on her face and loved with all her heart.
She went to school in Edmond, Oklahoma, eventually graduating from Edmond Memorial in 1984 and attending college at the University of Central Oklahoma. Lorie was active in her sorority, Delta Zeta. As her diabetes caused her eyesight to fail, Lorie left school, but she maintained her friendships throughout her life.
In 1993, Lorie’s daughter, Manda Jane, was born. Lorie was a devoted mother and adored parenthood, almost as much as she loved being a grandmother. Lorie was beloved by all who knew her, humans and animals alike.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thomas (Tom) Anthony and Ruby Anthony.
She is survived by her daughter Manda Jane Macias; grandchildren Ashton Mason and Adalynn Mason; siblings Cindy Swanda and Todd Anthony; ; sister-in-law Debbie Anthony; nieces and nephews: Vance Roberts, Valerie Garcia, Molly McMullin-Yohe, McKenzie Abid, Morgan Anthony, Spencer Anthony, and Caleb Anthony; great-nieces and nephews: Laken Roberts, Reese Roberts, Michael Melott, Davis Radant, Tommy Yohe, Braelyn Abid, Bryson Abid, and Hadley Anderson; and numerous other family members and friends.
