Our precious daughter, Margaret “Maggie” Frances Kerwin, was born on October 3, 2025 and Baptized by Father Stephen Jones shortly after her birth. She passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on October 8, 2025. Though Maggie was with us for a short time, she filled our hearts with a lifetime of love and faith.
Maggie is the beloved daughter of Jarid and Kaitlyn Kerwin, cherished baby sister of Kristofer and Carolyn, deeply loved granddaughter of Amanda Penrod, Kevin Penrod, Kimberly Godwin, and Kenneth and Julia Godwin. Her illuminous life will forever shine in the hearts of all who love her.
She came into our world at 23 weeks gestational age and quickly stole the hearts of all around her. Her care team nicknamed her “Mighty Maggie” for her spunk and fierceness. Maggie’s life has so much meaning, and she taught us the importance of faith, hope, and charity (love), and how God does not abandon us even in the darkest nights of the soul. Though her days were few, her spirit shone brightly — a reminder that even the smallest life can leave an eternal mark, and we should celebrate the importance and beauty of life’s most precious moments.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
