

Marilyn Sue Conrad, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on May 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and service to others. Throughout her life, Marilyn devoted herself to her family, education, ministry, and the communities she loved.
Born on March 31, 1936, in Cyril, Oklahoma, Marilyn was the daughter of Charles H. Murry and Fern Hazel Myers Murry. She graduated as salutatorian of her class from Cyril High School before continuing her education at East Central State College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Marilyn faithfully served alongside her husband in ministry as a Methodist pastor’s wife in communities across Oklahoma, including Bethel, Lawton, Lucien, Hunter, Coalgate, and Pauls Valley. Her steadfast faith, servant’s heart, and genuine compassion touched countless lives through every church and community she called home.
While living in Tulsa, Marilyn founded and served as President of Covenant Keepers Inc., a marriage restoration ministry focused on healing, reconciliation, and strengthening Christ-centered relationships. Through her ministry, she offered hope, encouragement, and guidance to individuals, couples, and families.
After retiring to Edmond, Oklahoma, Marilyn continued to be known for her kindness, wisdom, unwavering faith, and dedication to helping others. Her life reflected love, devotion, and Christian service, and her influence will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Deborah Conrad; and her brothers, H.W. “Sonny” Murry, Robert Murry, and sister Billie Magee.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Craig Conrad (Susan) and Murry Conrad (Becky); her grandchildren, Melissa Risenhoover (Brandon) and Kyle Conrad (Kirsten); and her great-grandchildren, Holland Risenhoover, Berkli Risenhoover, Ezekiel Risenhoover, Caleb Conrad, and Levi Conrad.
Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 17, 2026.
