

In memory of Marion Maye Harmon Beitzel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on January 1, 1953, to loving parents William Monroe Harmon and Doris Elizabeth Hill in North Hampton, Massachusetts. At the age of 7, she moved with her family to Oklahoma, where she would build a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering faith.
Marion earned an associate degree in cosmetology and was a licensed beautician, dedicating 54 years to the beauty industry. Her passion for serving others shone brightly through her work, where she made everyone feel beautiful and cherished. Marion's laughter was contagious; she would often laugh even before sharing a story, her joy lighting up every room she entered.
Her deep faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Marion was an active member of Church Alive in Edmond, OK, and found immense joy in Christian music of all types. She taught everyone around her the importance of kindness and compassion, aspiring to be remembered as a woman of faith who loved Jesus with all her heart.
Marion loved the color pink, traveling, staycations, camping, and watching pre-60s movies. Her love for simple pleasures brought joy to her and those around her.
In June of 1990, Marion married Tim Heflin and shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2016. She later found love in Duane Beitzel, whom she married on July 27, 2019, and he stood beside her until the end.
Her legacy of kindness and faith will live on through her loving husband, her children Jacob Heflin, Baylor Heflin, Nicole Heflin, Priscilla Close and her husband Eric, Carol Heflin, and Samantha Heflin, grandchildren: Savannah, Starla, Brody, Tucker, Noah, Charles, Zivah, Aiyana, Zoey, Timothy, Ryan, Alexander, Sophia, Jackson, Heaven, Alize, and Weyland,. her brother Darryl Harmon, and sister Mary Harmon, and her fur baby Tyre. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tim Heflin, her brother Jimmy Harmon and sister Cindy Harmon.
Marion's warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. And may Marion rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of Jesus, whom she so dearly cherished.
