Merrie Ann Ledbetter

Merrie Ann Ledbetter went to meet her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2010. She was born on December 17, 1938, in Vancouver, Washington. Her parents were Ellsworth and Florence Bell. She graduated from Fort Vancouver High School. She married Herbert Ledbetter on January 9, 1956. They had three children. She was a loving mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Troy Allen Ledbetter, and her husband, Herbert Ledbetter. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Ledbetter and his loving wife, Connie (Vancouver, Washington), her daughter, Amy Sue Boyd and her loving husband, James (Edmond, Oklahoma). She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She loved the Lord and was a member of “Lord of Life Lutheran Church of Edmond. She loved Oklahoma and cherished her precious friends she made here. She loved her many pets and all God’s creatures, she was a blessed wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a friend to many. She taught us all to love the Lord, our God, and to look for something good in everyone. She will be so missed by us all.

She will be laid to rest at a Memorial service in her hometown of Vancouver, WA on September 3, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Edmond, OK. She filled many hearts with gladness!
