Mike was born on March 26, 1955 in Shawnee, OK and passed away on February 18, 2018 at the age of 62 in Guthrie, OK. Throughout his life Mike worked on an oil rig, was a police officer, a truck driver, a coal miner, and an equipment operator. He was a man of many talents. His hobbies included fishing, building hot rods, metal working, playing bass guitar, and yard work.

He played bass guitar and has rebuilt several race cars. He loved drag racing, especially with his sons. He enjoyed going to any activity that his grandchildren were involved in and greatly admired that his grandchildren were bring raised with a lot of the same values that he instilled in his children.

Mike was a great friend of mine so sorry to hear about his passing. We had a lot of fun together in our early years and he was a part of our family. He was easy to talk to and always did his share of the work. He will truly be missed.

I didn't know Mike, but I do know his firstborn daughter Talisha I believe she got her looks and her wonderful sense of humor from Mike. She sure loved her Daddy! I'm so so sorry for your family's loss.
