

Milford W. Parker was born on June 7, 1936, in Headrick, OK, to Russell and Mildred. He grew up in Buckeye, AZ, with sisters Christine and Corky. After returning to Oklahoma, he found the love of his life, Norma Sue Crank. They were married for 59 years and poured their hearts into their five sons.
While supporting his young family, Milford earned a bachelor’s in math and physics from Central State. He was successful as an auto parts store owner, drywall contractor and home builder. He had a passion for racing dragsters and stock cars, coaching his sons’ sports teams and taking family vacations at the lake and the mountains of Colorado. He had a generous heart that touched many lives and will be remembered for his determination to succeed.
Milford was proceeded in death by his parents, a son, Randy, his beloved mother-in-law Juanita Keeling, and brother-in-law, Wayne Crank. He is survived by his wife, Sue; sons Mike (Linda) of Little Rock, Steve (Barbara), Greg, Gary (Carla) of OKC and grandchildren Jeni (Necon) Warrior, Alicia (Reid) Weatherford, Samantha (Cody) Lewis, Courtney, Bryan, Mason, Ashly, Micah, Jordan, and Rebecca Parker, and his loving great grandkids who all look forward to being with him in heaven.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Milford’s life on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. at Ridgecrest Church of Christ in Midwest City. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
