Nelson Ernest Eley, 85, of Edmond passed away January 26, 2012. Nelson was born June 20, 1926 in Fredericksburg, VA to Alfred and Laura (Gayle) Eley. He served his country during WWII in the United States Army. Nelson was an avid hobbiest, he loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing and had the ability to make anything. Nelson is preceded in death by son, Dennis. He is survived by his his wife of 65 years, Myrtus Eley; son, Ronald Eley and wife Joanne of Edmond; grandchildren, Denise Woodard and husband DeWayne of OKC, OK, Dawn Dietrich and husband Erich of Jacksonville, FL, Debbie Buchanan and husband Shannon of Edmond, Ok; great grandchildren DeAnna and Dennis Woodard, Kirsten and Colton Dietrich, Julie and Zarek Buchanan.
