Neva loved playing dominos and dancing with her husband Lonnie. They were married just 3 months shy of 50 years.
Neva enjoyed: weekly trips to the laundry mat to see her friends; walking the mall; watching Wheel a Fortune, Jeopardy, and judge shows; listening to the country music countdown; reading celebrity magazines she would receive in the mail each week (ask her about any celebrity and she would know what they were doing and who they were dating); and Saturday trips to Walmart.
When the grandkids were young, she would take them to the laundry, grocery store, and out to lunch with her close friend Louise.
She was always surrounded by animals. They just took to her, coming to visit her home by the dozens. But she did NOT care for the visiting scorpions; she made sure to double spray everything.
She always paid her bills the day they came in the mail and was always the first person to get her condo dues paid, at the beginning of the month!!
She never went anywhere without her purse, even placed it next to her bed at night.
She NEVER missed a birthday for any of her kids or grandkids! She would even give them pay raises, when it was allowed.
She always had candy bags made up to give to the great-grandkids, when they came over.
Visitation will be at Baggerley from 9am to 8pm, Friday. A graveside service will be held 2pm, Saturday, at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.
