Nicki was a great friend of the PA profession in general, and to the individual PAs specifically.  She was great fun to be around, yet knew her business.  She dealt with political issues with equanimity, yet couched any personal comments lest they be misconstrued.
Even though we’ve not talked for many years, I will miss you Nicki!
My thoughts are with you Tara

Nikki was definitely the back bone and a great resource of the PA Program when I was a student. She was honest, gentle, compassionate and had quite the personality. My sincere condolences to Tara and the entire family.

I am so saddened by the loss of Nicki. I’ve known her for many years dating back to the 80’s when she helped  me through the program. We became friends. My condolences to Tara and the rest of her family. In my prayers.

How to describe a foundational member of Oklahoma PA culture , other than the best " tuff mom" a student could have?  One who deeply cared for the profession,  but also maintained a personal interest in the wellbeing of every student which transitioned into a lifelong friendship.   Nikki was the antithesis of disingenuous,  always sincerely authentic in being herself and her regard for anyone lucky enough to be in her orbit.   Condolences to Tara and  all of Nicki's family during this time of loss.
