

Norman L. Clouse was born October 5, 1934 and passed away on March 6, 2017. He served 4 years in the US Navy as an electrician aboard the USS Philippine Sea and the USS Lexington and was also a technical writer for NASA at the test site in Picyune, Mississippi. At one time, Norm owned a bowling alley, "Starlite Lanes" in Picyune and he ran the pro shop where he customized bowling balls.
He attended Mt. San Jacinto Community College in Hemet, California and Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For many years, Norman loved being a flooring contractor with an artistic flair! He designed corporate and church gymnasium and sanctuary floors. He retired from Home Depot after many years of service. He was their flooring expert early on and then moved to the Rental department.
Norm had a passion for cooking during his last few years and perfected a great bread pudding. He was a big fan of the Dodgers and Sooners and never missed a Thunder game.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Martin Clouse; his sister, Janet; and his daughter, Robyn. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; Carolyn's daughter, Kelly and her husband Brad; Norman's daughter, Judy and her husband Terry; and Norman's son, Don and his wife Sandra; along with numerous other family and friends. Norm has 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was the life of the party and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
