Rob Travis

Rob Travis was born May 13, 1970, in Muskogee, OK, to parents Bob & Vera Travis. He passed away August 3, 2015, at home in Edmond. He was a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Rob and Susan Pugh eloped on a Carnival cruise ship, March 11, 1993, in Port Canaveral, Florida. An avid runner, Rob was a huge sports fan; especially OU football and the OKC Thunder. He also loved music.

Rob and Susan met at the age of 16 when they played together on their high school soccer team. Rob continued to enjoy soccer throughout his life.

Rob often took Jake to see their favorite bands and loved his trip to the Austin City Limits Music Festival with his sister, Angie, and his brother, Matt.

He completed several half marathons, including the Oklahoma Memorial Race in honor of his dear friend Glenda.

Rob was so excited when the Thunder came to OKC and enjoyed attending many games with his family.

Rob enjoyed traveling to see friends and family in Las Vegas, NV, Littleton CO, and Kansas City, MO.

Rob was preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, John Pugh, Jr.; and nephew, Emery Wilson, III. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; son, Jake; mother, Vera; sister, Angie Kenny & husband Bradley and their son Sean; brother, Matt Travis & wife Molly and their children Henry and Maya; mother-in-law, Anne Pugh; brothers-in-law, David Pugh and Mike Pugh and his family; sister-in-law, Patricia Wilson and her family; and many other family members and friends.

Viewing will be at Baggerley from 9am to 8pm, Friday, with the family to receive friends from 6pm to 8pm. A celebration of Rob’s life will be 1pm, Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel.
