Robert A. (Bob) Adams was born December 13, 1924, in Davenport, OK, to Lester and Elizabeth Adams. He passed from this life on April 23, 2012, in Edmond, OK, where he has resided since 1962. He was married to Edna Lorene Adams for 65 wonderful years. She was truly the love of his life. He retired from Phillips Oil Company having been employed there for 42 years. His working life took him and his family from the West Texas oil fields back to his home state of OK, where he settled in Edmond. He made many friends along the way. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. He spent many happy summers in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, fly fishing on the Conejos River. He is survived by sons, Raymond Adams & wife Cheryl of Arcadia, Tom Adams & wife Valerie of Edmond, Charles Adams & wife Deborah of Houston, TX. His grandchildren are Noel Evans, Kristen Allen, Nikki White, Randy Adams, Robert Adams, and Clifford Adams. Bob had 9 great-grandchildren. He also has two sisters, Charlotte Brum and Betty Mauldin, and a host of nephews and nieces. He was most proud of his family. He also had many people in his extended family including all of his longtime friends at Pepe’s Restaurant in Edmond. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Baggerley Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
