Oh Robert, There are so many memories from our childhood. I guess just remember all the camping trips our families took together. You were always a ray of sunshine with that wonderful smile.

Robert was my friend back in high school…in Ponca City.  I remember his first car…a red Mustang…he was so proud of that car…and I remember his first speeding ticket in that Mustang…62 in a 45 on Pecan Road…and he was so pissed that he didn’t get a warning…but he laughed about it later…Always smiling…always upbeat.  He was my friend…just like everyone else back then…because Robert was a friend to everyone at Po-Hi back then…everyone  lucky enough to know him.  :)

Robert was a kind and faithful friend and he will be deeply missed by our family. I had the blessing of serving with him at OCS and he was always willing to lend a helping hand, ideas and wisdom. During those years his birthday calls were always a special gift letting us know he remembered our day.  We are praying for his precious family as they reflect on the love they share. Lord be close with your gentle care- Gayle Smith and family 

When Robert was around twelve years old, he spent several days with his Laman grandparents in Cave City, AR. We had an apartment near by so had the opportunity to spend time with our young cousin. He was good natured and full of fun. He really enjoyed managing the family fireworks event that year. We truly loved and admired Robert. 

Gentle, kind heart. Loved Our savior and His truth. Reunited with Mary Dell and mom and dad. Face to face with Jesus, no longer through a mirror dimly. Thank you God for your faithfulness. Robert wants all of us to know and experience the Lord, Jesus.  Before he knew in part but now is fully revealed. Grab hold of his truth. This is why you were born. 

Robert was great at providing men's breakfasts at Faith bible Church. I will miss visiting with him at Pub W and sharing Christ.
