Roger Allan Jacks

Roger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Oklahoma and went on to work at the Employment Security Commission as an Actuary.

One thing that Roger loved was The Who. He met his loving wife of 53 years at a Who Concert and soon married her on October 1, 1971. Rock and Roll was his favorite genre of music and a perfect day to him would be listening to The Who live and in person. He laughed at all jokes, and he loved his wife, family and dearest friends.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Juanita Jacks and his stepmother Dora Jacks.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Jerelyn, his brother Keith and wife Jenell of Bealeton Virginia, his two stepsisters Vicki Rhodes and Linda Smith of Seminole Oklahoma, one Niece, and 8 Nephews. He also leaves behind his close family friend Tom Welin and his caring Nurse Nini. He leaves behind many family members and friends, but his life and memories will forever be cherished by all who knew him.

A graveside service for Roger will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
