

Services for Ronald “Ronnie” Gene Johnson, 62, formerly of Edmond, OK will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, Nov 12, 2012 at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. His family’s endearing nicknames for him, included “Big Ole Bro” and “PapaPunk”.
Ronnie was born Aug 22, 1950 in Oklahoma City. He proudly served our country as a door gunner/photographer during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He earned his Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Oklahoma. His hobbies and interests included computers, fishing, traveling and photography. His favorite time was spent with his grand babies. He enjoyed baseball and OU football. Ronnie’s greatest achievements were surviving the war and also graduating college; his proudest moments would be the birth of his children and grandchildren whom he treasured. He attended St. Mark’s Lutheran church when residing in Edmond and most recently, Konawa United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pamala Keller Johnson and brother-in-law, Warren Keller.
Ronnie is survived by his parents, Glenn and Margie Johnson; wife, Donna Jo Johnson of Konawa; son, Scott Johnson and Kim of Moore, OK; daughter, Angie Rohrer and husband Daniel of Yukon; daughter, Jeannie Cox and husband Richard of Manford, OK; Marie Prewett and husband Kelly of Konawa, OK;
14 grandchildren, Devin Johnson, Stephanie Jasso, Trenton Rohrer, Jake Rohrer, Emily Rohrer, Gabby Rohrer, Dylan Johnson, Aylssa Johnson, Amanda Prewett-Coffin, Keelan Prewett, Jarod Prewett, Braden Prewett, Richie Cox, Brittany Cox-Combs; one great-grandchild, Trenten Combs; three sisters, Valora Standlee and husband Pete, Vanessa Workman and husband Eddie, Pam Shepherd and husband Gerry; two brothers, Russell Johnson and Ray Tumey; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends as well as his best friend, Royston White.
