

He was born on October 2, 1957, in Houston, Texas, and raised in Rosebud, Arkansas. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a degree in Agriculture, Sherman moved to Oklahoma, where he began his career in the bakery industry. He started at Skaggs in Midwest City as a donut fryer and worked his way up to baker. His dedication and expertise eventually led him to become a Bakery Technician, a role that allowed him to travel across Oklahoma and surrounding states to share his knowledge and passion for baking.
During his time in Oklahoma, Sherman met and married Sandie Brown, a co-worker. They shared 16 years together.
Sherman is survived by his sisters Peggy and Regina, his aunt Wyvette, three children: Shawn Nicholas, Patricia Marie, and Danielle Lee, as well as three grandchildren: Bailee Marie, Heaven Nikol, and Daj’Shuan Lamar. He is also survived by his niece Dawn, nephews Johnny and Lance, and many cousins.
Sherman had a love for music and movies, and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. A passionate gamer and skilled builder, he even created his own computer. He also had a fondness for cars and was known for his enthusiasm and energy.
Sherman will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
