Stanley Allen Tilley was born in Sperry, OK on May 1st, 1928 to Alice and Allen Tilley. After living for some time in Barndstall, he moved with his mother, brother, and sister to Oklahoma City, where he attended Central High School and played varsity football.

Stan then found work at Tinker Air Force Base and as a linesman for OG&E, before serving two years in the Army. When he returned from active duty in Germany, he took a job at Crane Plumbing, and eventually met his wife to be of sixty years, Jo Leta (Coe) Tilley. After marrying and fathering two children, Stan continued to work for Crane until he finally decided to start his own company- Central Plumbing Supply. With time, his business flourished, providing he and Jo with the means of fulfilling their dreams of building their own home, retiring, pursuing their shared love of golf, and providing support to their growing family.

Over the years, Stan enjoyed golfing with a close-knit group of guys at Lake Hefner Golf Club. He cherished their camaraderie, and had many stories to tell about their time together. When he wasn't on the course with his buddies, he was often busy sharing his passion for the sport with his family. He lovingly spent countless hours in the back yard working with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren on their swings and pitching skills, and would provide them endless insights into all aspects of the game.

In addition to golf, Stan had a variety of other interests. He enjoyed keeping up with current events and was always eager to engage in a political, religious, or ethical discussion with an open ear to hear what someone else's take on the matter was. Though he didn't have a college degree, Stan was sharp minded, contemplative, and had many words of wisdom to share.

Performing routine maintenance tasks like mowing the lawn, painting, and servicing his HVAC units also brought him a lot of joy. He would often tinker around in the garage for hours, listening to talk radio before coming in for the afternoon or evening and settling into his favorite chair to watch a collegiate or professional sporting event.

Above all, Stan was a good family man. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He spent the many years of his life expressing and demonstrating to each member of his family how much he loved and cared about them. They were everything to him- his accomplishment, his prized possession. We will all miss him dearly.

Stan's wife, Jo Tilley; his brother, Vic Tilley; and his sister, Iris Wilson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Pat Tilley; his children Dwayne Tilley and Denise Morgan; his daughter-in-law, Toni Tilley; his grandchildren, Chris Dorr and wife Brie; Dustin Dorr and wife Sarah; Lindsay Dockins and husband Aaron; Aaron Benson and wife Linda; Matthew Tilley; Trisha O'Donoghue and husband Dan; Mallory Fenton and husband Matt; Landon Morgan; and his 14 great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives.
