Todd Anthony Pitts

Oct. 13, 1961 - Dec. 12, 2011 EDMOND Todd Anthony Pitts, age 50, passed away Monday morning in his Edmond home. He was born October 13, 1961 in Woodward, Oklahoma and was the young-est of four children to John O. and Leslynn Pitts. Todd spent the first twelve years of his life in Perryton, Texas and then moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1975. Graduating from Edmond Memorial High in 1980, he lettered in Track and Field as well as Football. Todd attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and remained an avid fan of the OU football team and the Texas A&M women's basketball team. Todd is survived by one daughter (Elanor "Elie" Pitts), a sister (Rona Simmons of Edmond), two brothers (Brodie Pitts of Edmond and Kevin Pitts of Wenatchee, Washington), and many nieces and nephews; his parents preceded him in death. The family will hold a private memorial service on Friday, December 16 at 7 pm.
