My heart aches and I cannot tell you how much it hurts to hear of Adam’s passing. My deepest sympathy to all of your family.

I can't tell you how very, very sorry I am to hear about the loss of your son Adam. I am sure that it is every parent's greatest fear.

Our family was so fortunate to have lived down the street from Adam and his family. We quickly became good friends. I honestly can’t remember a time when I saw Adam that he wasn’t smiling. Adam’s beautiful smile lit up the room and his kind sweet considerate character made that room warm and fun. Our family remembers Adam’s witty personality he often made us laugh. Adam was intelligent and caring. We feel so sad for the whole Stychin family you are such a great family and for something like this to happen to you breaks our hearts. Reading the many kinds words from friends on Adam’s memories page, the clear theme was how incredibly wonderful and happy he was. And how much his cheerful presence was appreciated by all who knew him.

I can’t imagine the depth of the pain and sadness that you are feeling. And if there was a way through words or deeds to ease that agony, I would gladly do that. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this incredibly difficult time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Adam a number of times.  He was a great kid that was courteous, funny and like most of the Stychin clan he had a  competitive spirit.  Whether it was bocce ball, basketball or no rules foosball he played with a smile and never called me out for cheating!  Adam was a bright light that faded far too quick and he will be missed greatly.

We are so shocked to hear of Adam's illness and passing. Caitlin and Adam were the best of friends in kindergarten and Grade 1 until Adam moved to another school. He had such a sweet and good heart. Adam will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew him. May God comfort you at this difficult time.

I met Adam at the Cross in September, he was sitting beside me in the chemo room.
Needless to say, I met a lot of people in these rooms but Adam was special, we connected. We talked for more than 3 hours and exchanged phone numbers. I never really expected to hear from him but it was only a few days later when he was messaging me, checking up on me. We communicated often to see when the other was going to be in the building, so we could have a visit and catch up. My visits to the Cross will be darker knowing I won’t get to see Adam. The news of Adam passing broke my heart, he was so strong, positive, kind and caring. I will miss him. To Angela, who was always at Adams side, I am truly sorry for your loss and your families loss. ❤️
