Alice Ruth Shirley, 95, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 17, 2015, in Calgary, Alberta at the South Campus Hospital.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Shirley, prominent businessman (Shirley Ford); and sister, Elnora Hunter.
She was born in Drink Water, Saskatchewan, on July 25, 1920, and was married to Ralph Shirley for 60 wonderful years.
Alice is survived by her brother, Harold Hunter of Vancouver; children, Dale (Marlene) Shirley of Puerto Vallarta MX, Dianne Shirley of Edmonton, Donald Shirley of Bragg Creek, Judy (Dave) Bladon of Chestermere; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren
The family will be holding a private funeral service.
