

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Roger and her children, R. Craig, Curtis and Kimberly, as well as her sister Dyllis Awid, sister-in-law Twyla Daly, brother in law Marshall (Dianna), sister in law Candace Otto as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Dora Johnson, her younger brother Blayne, brother in law Ken Awid and her sister in law Margaret Johnson.
After graduation from Calmar High School, Arlene began her work career in Leduc before moving to Edmonton and working as a machine operator at barber Ellis. After her marriage she began her most important career as a homemaker at which she excelled. She was exceptional in all phases of family life and always gave her utmost attention. Although, early days of family life did not leave a lot of time and money for travel - she always loved the vacation to Fiji, New Zealand and Australia on her 25th wedding anniversary. Her greatest joys were - Family life and gardening. She loved flowers and would start a number of plants from seed or cuttings. Her gardens were admired by all.
At Arlene's request - there will be no funeral service so that others can remember her as she was in life.
If one wishes, donations in her memory can be donated to the charity of their choice.
