He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Irene “Betty”, mother Erna, children Claude (Patti), Darcy (Christine), Donna (Gord), and Darrel, grandchildren Jennifer, Ross (Rose), Ashley (Dylan), Jaymee (Colin), Nikki, Braden, and Rheanna, 3 great grandchildren, siblings Delphine, Maxine (Reuben), and Russ (Brenda), as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Eric and sister Grace.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Memories Funeral Home & Crematorium 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers donations in Art’s memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute 11560 University Ave., Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
