Dear Ann and Family. I have just learned of Arthur's passing. Sincere condolences. He will always be in some of my best memories from Fredericton. I remember when you were married and the love you shared. Families are eternal!

Ann, we only learned today of Art's passing through trying to track him down to say hello. We were in Alberta for a brief visit and are leaving to return to New Brunswick tomorrow.  Please accept our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Upon learning of Art's passing we have shared this with other mutual old friends from the east. We are all saddened to hear this news. I'm coming to this late, but wanted to let Arthur's family know that he is missed at Shepherd's Care, where my mom lives.  He was always friendly and ready to share a word of encouragement or a joke, or perhaps an opinion on the one or other thing.  I will always remember the impromptu harmonica concert he gave my Mom and us one fine fall evening in the garden out back of the centre.

Arthur was a good friend and brother and son. He was considered all of these when he served as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under my Father, Orval Tustian. He did all the pluming in the Chapels we built.  We always had a lot of fun with him. We girls (4) would tease the life out of him. When we went to Stake dances our Father would always make us dance with him, as you know Arthur had a short leg and after dancing with him we had one leg that just didn't work right for a while.  I loved his laugh, it was more of a giggle and he was always giggling.  My parents loved him and took him under their wing and made him part of the family. Dad and mom will be excited to see him again. My thoughts go out today to his family and all the friends that knew him.

Art was truly one of I kind.  We have been friends since our teen aged years in Fredericton and have kept close ties through the years as we all migrated west. Our hearts go out to you Ann, and your children and grand children.

Dear Ann.

I just heard this morning.

I was so sorry to hear that Art left us. He was a true and faithful servant. Art was  a pioneer who helped build the chapel at Fredericton, New Brunswick. I spoke with the local missionaries, and the local Bishop's wife. They assured me that Art would be honoured on Sunday. 

Art was always a good friend to me. He never hesitated in telling me the truth of things. I remember you fondly Ann, and I am saddened you lost Art for a timesaddened for both you and your family. 

And Art? Who could ever forget you, my friend? See you again...

We would like to extend our sympathies to Anne and the family of Arthur.  Art and I played music together for a while after I retired and moved to Edmonton in the early 2000's.  We had fun together.  Ryer and Marlene McAmmond

Arthur will be missed by so many.  I'm thankful for all of the wonderful memories that I have of him.  He had so many trials in his life, but always kept going.  Even when he couldn't work, he found ways to help support his family. He was a great friend, father, and husband.

So sorry to hear about your dad.Years ago  when we lived in the townhouses your family was our neighbors and the kids played together. Im sure he will be missed. Jim and Rose Mckay.

Art Murray his  guitar and his corn cob harmonica. Art was one of the first jammers I met at the Fiddlers Roost. He always asked me to sing a song I composed called everyday is Mother's Day. I smile because one time Art was busking at the flea market in St Albert. I walked by and saw Art, as we talked he asks me to sing Everyday is Mother's Day so I did. As I'm singing my Sergeant from the Edmonton Police Service  walks by he looks at me than throws a toonie into Arts guitar case. When I finish the song I go to take the toonie out so I could give it back to the Sargeant cause I was not busking. Than Art jumps in to tell me that's his toonie . i dig in my pocket grab a toonie and take after the Sargeant to give it back and explain I was not busking. My Sergeant would not take the darn thing.  We had a good laugh about that, yes Art my buddy you got me there, my condolences to Arts family and friends. RIP my friend until we play again. May the comfort, love and peace be with Arts family at this time. Please cherish the memories.

Loved Arthur's visit to our home in Federal Way, WA back in the day.  We've always kept in touch over the years.  He sent me one of his music albums.  We loved it!  Miss you, Arthur! R.I.P. from all your many, never-ending health issues.  Lots of love to the family, Keith & Cindy Ogden
