When he was younger Balbir served as a member of the Indian Army for many years.
He lived in India his entire life until moving to Canada in October of 1992 where he spent the rest of his life.
He passed away at the age of 86 on July 27th 2013. He will be remembered by his wife, Surjit Kaur Sandhu,
his five children and their own families, his friends, and all others in his family.
