It is with great sadness and love that the family of Carter Ray Radke announce the sudden passing of their sweet and joyous son on June 02/2023 while camping in Athabasca. He would have been 3 years old on September 25th.
He is survived by his father, Ryan Radtke; Step Dad, Cody Klemola; ;mother, Jessica Courteoreille; big brother Nolan Gooler; step brother Bentley Klemola; ; grandparents, Oma Karin Visser, Casey Petersen, Robbin Courteoreille, Ron and Maria Radtke, Rose Klemola and many extended family members. Everyone will miss infectious smile and happy-go-lucky personality.
Even in his short time on earth, Carter brought so much joy to his family and loved ones. He loved playing with anything that had a motor, watching hockey and watching Blippi his favorite TV show. He also loved music and dancing.
Carter always put others first, even when he was facing his own battles. Despite his struggles with health issues, he kept a brave and positive attitude, never losing that beautiful smile. He had a strong spirit that touched everyone he met, and his precious memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. He was well known around the world because of his Facebook page that his mom started to support others whose child also had Williams Syndrome which was such a gift.
Carter’s family is heartbroken and will miss him dearly. They take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and free from pain. They would like to thank the doctors and nurses who went above and beyond to care for their sweet boy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Memories Funeral Home 13403 Albert Trail NW Edmonton Alberta on Saturday June 17/2023 at 11:00 a.m. We encourage you to wear his favorite colors of blue and green if you are attending the service.
