Celeste you will be so missed. You were the kindest, sweetest person at work. Always had time for a chat and always stopped and asked how my boys were doing.  I will always remember your smile and kind heart.

I loved sharing photos of my 4 year old neice with you, from the day she was born. You loved her so much and was always excited to see her newest photo.
 I remember when I brought her to the Rock and gem show and you held her. She was so content with you.  
I loved working with you and even after I moved to another office we kept in touch by chatting on the department Skype chat. 
Your gentle heart and loving spirit is what drew me to you.  
My friend, my heart aches, and I can only hope we meet again one day.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Mark, Shantel & extended family. 
Celeste was always a joy to be around, especially when we would go to pow-wows, but we hadn't been to one in a while.  Celeste & I had this inside joke about  buying dried meat at a pow-wow & every once in a while during our phone calls, we'd bring up that incident and have a good laugh.  My dear friend Celeste had such a beautiful infectious laugh and a great sense of humor.  She was a great story teller as well.  Celeste will be dearly missed.
Celeste loved her family and she was so proud of Shantel and she missed her dear son Justin.

Celeste was a great co-worker/neighbour.  We used to bus home together and at the start of every week we would agree to get off a few stops early and walk the rest of the way home.  If we did that all week we would treat ourselves to a slurpee.  Well, we never did get off the bus early and walk all 5 days in a row!  But when we did walk it was the best part of my work day.  She was a fine, thoughtful lady and I was so lucky to have met her.  
        

My condolences to Shantel, Mark and the rest of the families. I had the pleasure of working with Celeste during the Canada Employment and Immigration days. Celeste was a colleague in the Programs and Services sector. She had a smile that would light up the room and her laughter could be heard across the unit.  Occasionally some of the team would meet up in the Red Tomato at happy hours where the jokes and laughter would dominate. Celeste was also a pretty good pool player and her and Shantel would make up a winning pair; whipping my butt many times.  Our friendship carried on after the CEIC days; she would call on her breaks just to say hello. She never forgot a birthday. Celeste; thank you for the friendship and  fond memories.

Will greatly miss her beautiful smile, her laugh and her positivity that was always radiating from her. I sat beside her in the Employment Insurance call centre back from 2016. 

My condolences go out to Mark, Shantel and the family. Celeste is now with Justin resting in peace.  

I will strive to be positive even in the hardest moments in my life because that is what Celeste did. I will miss trading bananas with her (she liked them green and I liked them with spots so we would trade if the banana we brought to work was not the right one for us). She would also always share her banana bread with me that her husband Mark made, it was always so delicious and sweetened some of our rough workdays. 

If Celeste or I missed more than one day of work, there would be a phone call to check in on one another. If we went on vacation, we had to notify the other person so we would not worry. I called her “my work momma” because our friendship was far beyond just being co-workers; she showed me so much kindness and love. She was so protective and constantly shined her motherly presence. 

Rest in peace my dear work momma. Keep smiling that beautiful smile down on us all, it was infectious and brought joy to all those that you smiled at (which was everyone, even strangers on the street). You will always be in my heart and forever missed. Love, Alannah Weinhandl.

I worked with Celeste at the call centre she sat in front of me since the day I started in 2017. She had such an infectious laugh, and sometimes on a break would pop her head over the barrier and we would shoot funny jokes at one another. 

Rip and condolences to all the family she always knew how to cheer me up or give me a good chuckle on the days I needed it, and her motherly presence. Will miss her so so much xoxox 

My deepest condolences to her family and all those who knew and loved Celeste.  Celeste was a beautiful soul. She was kind, funny and had an infectious smile that could cheer up your day. I worked with her at the call centre for many years. She will be deeply missed. 

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Mark and Shantelle in the loss of your wife, friend and Mother.   I met Celeste in the very early 90s working  for  the government, our friendship grew as we worked together in the EI Call Centre.  There were a few of us girls back then that called ourselves the "Call Girls  of 97st" and Celeste was there in the thick of it having  fun at work; while keeping a professional attitude. She always made time for you at her desk to chat, but she did not keep her clients waiting.  I  loved the picture in the video  of her laughing at work; that is how  I will remember Celeste.  God keep you and bless you Celeste, you will be missed, your First  Nations sister, Jackie Christopher.

So sorry for your loss.  I worked with Celeste in the EIT many years ago and I'll never forget her pretty smile and great sense of humor. She was always happy and friendly with everyone.  I will always remember her. God bless her beautiful soul.

Really grateful that I was able to work with Celeste who was a lovely, kind, and gentle lady. Celeste made a difference to everyone she touched. Words cannot grasp how much we will all miss her. She taught me patience and compassion in a moment when I needed reminding. She did it in a way that was encouraging and kind and made me feel like I could make a difference in the world. My condolences to her family and all who will miss her.

Thinking of Celeste, I will remember she had a great smile. She had a gentle way about her,  a calmness in any moment. She will be missed by many. 

I remember how when I worked at the call center, I'd always see Celeste coming to my corner to peek at the lottery board by my window. We'd always joke whenever we saw one another, "I better not see you tomorrow/Monday!" Because we always hoped that one of us would win it big (people who didn't know our joke always thought we were threatening one another haha). I remember how Celeste would always be tending to the massive plants in my corner, and how we both would find out why a plant was having a bad day.

Celeste always had a presence at work, I could always recognize her at a glance and she was soft spoken and kind to me, to everyone who knew her... Her name for her perfectly, because every time she smiled you could see how her eyes would twinkle.

My condolences to the family, a comfort for your lose. She may no longer be with us but she's with the stars now, and she will be missed.

I hope and pray you can all find healing and peace, in such a difficult time. Celeste is, and will always remain, one of the kindest and most gentle souls you could ever meet. She loved to laugh and make others feel that same joy. If you never received one of her e-mails with incredible office funnies, I would not believe you - because she extended herself to so many.

Working with Celeste was a joy. She had a ready smile and a great attitude. Her best smile was when she was up to something, she was loved. Condolences to Celestes family.

I worked with Celeste for many years. She had a quick wit and infectious laugh. We talked in the morning almost every day. She loved her family and her husband. She was so proud of her children. I am saddened that she is gone and I want to send my prayers to her daughter and husband. I am sure she is with Justin now and she is safe in the arms of our Lord. God speed Celeste until we meet again.
