Today is the one year anniversary of your passing.  I miss you more than words can describe.  I have my memories of the wonderful years that we got to spend with you, but some days my memories are not enough.  Thank you for your patience, guidance, understanding and most of all for your love.  You are the reason that I am the person that I am today.  I love you and will always miss you.  Your loving daughter Lorry.

I can't believe it has been one year since I have seen you, felt your whiskers on my check or had your arms wrap around me.  As the days go by I miss you more and more.   

Today I am reminded of a memory that only you and I share, a moment that helped shape the woman I am today.  You were driving me home from one of my many dentist appointments and a woman flagged you down on highway 2.  You slammed on the breaks and backed up to see how you could help.  She pleaded with you to take her parents to the airport so they wouldn't miss their flight.  You gladly did, here we were all piled into that little ford ranger, the lady in the front with us the man in back of the cab with the luggage.  When we dropped them off they tried to give you money and you refused.  You taught me so many different lessons in that moment and I thank-you for that.  

I love you grandpa and miss you so much! Today this beer is on me.

I miss you more and more everyday.  My heart is full of memories of you and the great times we shared together.  Rest in peace my wonderful Dad.  I love you.  Lorry
