Predeceased by her loving husband John, parents Walter and Hildeguard Marguardt, brother Wolfgang Marquardt and grand daughter Robin Hastings.
She is survived by one son Daniel (Francis), five daughters; Barbara (Kenneth), Daphne (John), Brenda, Marilyn (Kieran), Jackie, grandchildren; Terrance, Nicole (David), Chelsey (Andrew), Peter John, Melanie (James), Kristopher, Justin, John, Jaidyn, great grandchildren; Mikaylee, Kaitlyn, Madison, Willow and Hannah. She is survived by her one sister Adelaide Marguardt.
She was born in Berlin, Germany. At the age of 12 her family moved to Coldwater, Ontario. At the age of 16 she met the love of her life who she married and moved to Newfoundland to raise her family.
Christine enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed bingo, darts, bowling and playing cards.
She will be sadly missed by many that loved her.

Following the service a private interment for the family will be held at Rosehill Cemetery.
