Chris enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Chris leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Charlotte; sons, Jim (Kim), and Jeff (Angie); brothers, Rod (Danielle), Reg (Brenda), and Rick (Shelley); as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Atte; and his mother, Jenny.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home on Friday, October 1, 2021, for immediate family; others will be able to join via livestream.
In lieu of flowers,, the family would appreciate that donations be made the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
In accordance with the Alberta Government Covid-19 Exemption Program all family and guests are required to provide identification and one of the following:
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
• A negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the service – not sourced from AHS
• A valid medical exemption letter
There will be no exemptions to this requirement.
