I don't know if you will ever read this but truly my name is the same name as your mother's.  My closest friends call me "Chrissy".  I googled my name today and found the announcement of your mother's passing.  By everyone's comments, I can see that she was a very dear and wonderful person.  I can only hope to be spoken of as dearly upon my passing by my ten children and others.  My heart goes out to you children as you must miss her so very much. We have seen chris usually once a month since my eldest daughter was 6 months, and she is now 6 yrs old. She was always the sunshine in our day when going to the doctors office :) we used to bring her cookies because we wanted her to know how special she was to us. She was always smiling, and When i would call in , she could always tell who it was before i even told her. She truly was the sunshine in anyones day. I was so sorry to hear of her passing since we hadnt been there in a while, she is greatly missed. My condolensces to her family

I was both shocked and saddened today to learn of Christine's passing while visiting the doctor's office where she worked. Her warm greetings and smiles will be greatly missed by all of the families whom she got to know throughout the years. My deepest sympathy goes to her children and grandchildren whom she always spoke so highly of. May God bless you all and keep you strong.

Reading some of the messages here is just the tip of the iceberg as to how we all felt about Chris.  Even if she was having a bad day, she would make you feel better.  She was one of the most selfless people I have ever met.  And she will be truly missed.

To her children, I know that I have not met you, but with the stories she did share and most of all the love in her eyes when she spoke of all of you, I feel like I know you.

Adam you came to my sons'(Tom and Glenn) 12th or 13th birthday party when we took you all to the gun range to have a "boys" birthday party. Then your Mom claimed my husband as her brother to help him get some special help and me we were "just" friends, Timmy buddies that couldn't get our schedules to mesh except on special occasions and they were always special. I will miss your Mom.  She made each and every one of us feel SPECIAL.

It seems I have known Chrissy all my life. She was/is one of those people who come into your life once in a lifetime and completely changes you in an instant for the betterment of all. Chrissy was/is the epitome of grace, loyalty, and intimacy, a beacon of light spreading outward to the masses. She touched so many lives in such profound ways that her works are near immeasurable, to be sure. No matter what was befalling her at the time, she always placed that aside for the benefit of others. She was an earth angel who has now ascended for her  much greater work, to be with us all in a much greater capacity. I know that I am all the more richer for having had her in my life.
