A heartfelt sadness of the passing of our dearly beloved Papa, Lolo, Tatay, Manong, Engko, Tito Conrado Fulguerinas last Dec. 3, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, at the age of 99. Conrado was born Nov.26, 1926 in Dauis, Bohol, Philippines. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and a friend. He was a devoted Catholic all his life.
Every Sunday morning, he cooked and made sure that we have something to eat when we come home from church. He attended Masses pretty much every Sunday when he was able.
Conrado is predeceased by his wife, Victoria of 71 years. He is also predeceased by his oldest daughter, Simfronia who only live for 2 weeks and one miscarriaged baby at menopausal stage. He will be lovingly remembered by his 8 children namely Carling, Annie, Boy, Nida, Rita, Maria, Aleth & Ling-ling, 6 in laws, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Conrado is a very obedient man, because “the Lord said”, go to the world and multiply, and that, was what he exactly did, he produced 48 beautiful people and counting.
When he was younger, he was a councilman in our village Tinago, Dauis for more than 20 years until shortly before he migrated here in Canada in 1993. He worked as a yard personnel at Tantrade Corporation in Tagbilaran City, Phil. for more than 30 years, until he retired at the age of 60. Every afternoon on his day off he loved to play checkers, in our dialect, it’s called “dama” with his friends. He also love to play masyaw, back home, and here in Canada he loved his pick 3 lottery, he also love to play tong its and dominoes.
We are so Blessed by his endurance, patience and hard work. I know for certain, that without his very good example and love for all of us, we won’t be as what we are right now. He was 1 of the best person in the whole world. His good deeds that printed in our hearts will be treasured and missed forever.
