Darlene Debby Chalcraft

On Sept 4,2025, at the age of 74, Darlene passed away peacefully at home with her devoted husband by her side.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 31 years, Robert and children Trish (Cory), Laura, Paul (Chantal) along with 8 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Bruce and Jean Graham

Born in Edmonton, Dar was raised by her devoted parents. As an only child she was the apple of their eye and formed an incredible relationship with them. A strong bond that continued up to her parents passing.

Dar spent most of her younger years in Alberta. She spent a decade in Ontario gradually making her way back to Alberta. It was at her high school reunion she reunited with Robert whom she soon married.

Settling into an acreage just outside of Edmonton, Dar loved driving her hot rod, a 1926 model T. she especially love going to car shows with her husband and daughter and developing everlasting friendships with many in the community.

Dar loved living on their acreage, especially after their parents build a house on their property. her favourite space with their sunroom Robert built. she spent endless of hours in there tending to her plants, Koi fish and their turtles.

Her greatest loves, next to her husband, was dogs and Amazon. We often joke that she had a great contribution to the Amazon stock rates! so much that Robert had made a sign in their driveway pointing to where the deliveries should go. when it comes to dogs, Dar just had a way with them. She was proud when their shy apprehensive rescue, Lily was able to be certified as a mental health support dog.

Dar will be deeply missed.

Currently, there is no plan for a service. The family will be taking the time they need to mourn her loss before making any decisions on a celebration of life.
