Don was born and grew up in Edmonton and was the youngest of five siblings. A very humble man, he spent many years working in the service and security industry. Don was a very brave and strong man; he was the recipient of a kidney transplant 20 years ago and has been on dialysis for a number of years. He endured a lot but never complained. Up until his passing he lived happily with his sister Muriel. A kind and friendly man, he very much enjoyed the company of family and friends.
Don is survived by his loving sister Muriel as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Donald, brother Douglas, sisters Alma and Norma, brother-in-law Douglas and many other family members.
Respecting Don’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service.
