It is with sadness that the family of Donna Day announce her peaceful passing on January 3, 2018 at the age of 84. She will be lovingly remembered as a kind and generous person who would help anyone. She sacrificed unselfishly for and received immense joy from her family. She enjoyed a good joke and a good glass of wine.
Donna was pre-deceased by her mother and father Agnes and Patrick Kelly, her husband James Day and her stepson Alan Day.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick McCloskey (Caroline), Kevin McCloskey (Susan), stepdaughters Patricia Ireland (Bill), Sandra Day, and her stepson Larry Day (Irene), her grandchildren Shawn McCloskey, Sheldon McCloskey, Daina McCloskey, Stacey McCloskey, Megan Hoogenberg, James Day, Michael Day, Chris Ireland and Paul Day, her three great grandchildren Alex Day, Sam Day and Aidan Pettyjohn.
At the request of Donna there will be no funeral. Donna would love it if in true Irish fashion you raise a glass of cheer in her Honour.
