On April 12, 2017, Doris Campbell of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 96. Doris is survived by her daughter Colleen (Jim) Ascher; son Brian (Colette); five grandchildren, Keri (Jason) Potvin, Robin (Shaun) Street, Nicole (Allan Schumacher), Chantal, Natalie; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Zachary, Isabelle and Olivia; brothers-in-law Colin Campbell and Robert (Bob) Norris; as well as other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon in 2005, her parents Joe and Sarah Church, sister Francis Spooner, sisters-in-law Vicki Campbell and Ellen Norris, brothers-in-law Brian Spooner; and niece Wendy Barnett. Doris will be remembered for her love of theatre, art and travel. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at the Riverbend Retirement Home. In keeping with Doris’ wishes, she will be cremated and no funeral service will take place.
