A voice from the past!  Sending along my condolences to you, Joyce, and the rest of the family.  You probably don't remember me but I always remember the Bannister Family from K.E.P.  I am the former Doreen Jones (now Wilkins).  I believe the last time I saw Doris was when Mrs. Burridge was my guardian and we stayed the night at your house.  Doris, you, Joan, and I laid out in the field behind your house, counting stars, telling goofy stories, etc. probably some 70 years ago.  When the Burridges moved to B.C., I stayed with them for 6 years so lost contact with former schoolmates.  Now I live in a Senior's residence in the west end of Edmonton.  There are only 3 of us "Joneses" left now.  Bob is in Kelowna, Shirley in Jarvie, AB.  We just lost Eleanor last year.  I still have the King Edward Park book picturing all the plays and sign songs that your mom and dad put on at the hall.  Good times were had by all.  I remember our Bill singing with your dad and Mr. Burridge.  Great times and your family was the focus of them.  Once again, my sympathy to you all.

"Aunty Do" to so many of us of the lake family at Lac la Nonne! So many good memories of a great neighbour and the good times we shared! Our condolences and love to Reg, Diane and family.
