It was my pleasure to be of service escorting Edith, for over 2 years, to and from her volunteer position at the hospital. She was definitely one of a kind!

I have been working @ the UofA Hospital for 26 yrs.  I will never forget Edmith's energy & committment.  Quite a LADY!

I had the pleasure of developing a friendship with Mrs Sutton's daughter, Margaret. It was evident that many of Margaret's virtues came from her mothers example. Their bond, and Mrs Sutton's love for her daughter was something very special. I am away visiting my parents and will not be able to attend the service. My condoleses to Philip and family. i have worked at the University Hospital over the last 33 yrs. Edith was always, full of life and happy to be of help  The staff and patients loved her. She was a very sweet woman!

I was very happy to have had the chance to meet Edith in 2006.  It was great to have the chance to hear about her life during our quarterly lunches out.  And I was so thrilled that she was able to represent the GRADS at the Grand Opening of the GO Community Centre in September 2011 as an honoured guest.  Warm regards,
