Eileen Hilda Humphries

Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Craig; daughter, Rebecca (Mike); parents, Merrill Sr. and Lila; siblings, Annette (Brandon), Kim (Scott) and Merrill Jr. (Erica); sister-in-law, Patricia (Frank); nieces, Robyn (Scottie), Courtney, Lila and Emma; nephew, Frankie as well as her great-nieces, Charlotte, Olivia and Norah. Also left to cherish Eileens memory are many dear extended relatives and treasured friends.

She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Sam and her mother-in-law, Blanche.

You always knew when Eileen entered a room; it was filled with light and her unmistakable laughter. She had the biggest and kindest heart, always making those around her feel welcomed. Eileen was a devoted wife and mother, always ensuring that Craig and Rebecca felt loved and cared for. For those who had the pleasure of knowing Eileen, the world will be a little dimmer, but each one can take comfort in the knowledge that you mattered to her.

Eileen’s family extends the utmost gratitude to the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital, not only for the phenomenal care and comfort provided to her, but to them as well.
