Elizabeth Stella Marie Soetaert (née Meunier) of Edmonton peacefully passed away at the age of 86. Surrounded by her cherished family, she bravely faced and succumbed to a brief battle with cancer.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her loving children: Monique (Jay) Cooper, Mitch (Sheila), and Marc (Grace). Elizabeth was a pillar of strength and a beacon of unwavering love to her grandchildren: Chad, Lance (Kassandra), Taryn, Devin, Mike, Kjeryn, Caelum, and Beckett. She was also a treasured presence in the lives of her great-grandchildren Emrys and Peyton.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Remi, and her grandson Marek, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories. Her unwavering strength and devotion to family remain an enduring testament to a life lived with grace and kindness.
Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, yet her spirit will forever live on in the countless lives she touched with her warmth and compassion.
