

Emile Romeo Levesque passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 78.
He is survived by his daughter, Dusty Levesque, his two sons, Tyra and Virgil, and his former spouse, Loretta Bolton. Emile is also survived by his siblings, Lawrence (Brigitte) Levesque, Marcel (Shirley) Levesque, Patrick Levesque, Alfred Levesque, Jeanette Levesque, Maxine Dickson, Sylvia Levesque, Clifford (Crystal) Levesque, Valerie (Terry) Demasson, Marie Anderson, and sister-in-law, Martha Levesque, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Emile was predeceased by his parents, John Levesque and Annette Levesque-Heitt, his brother, Albert Levesque, and brother-in-law Sam Anderson.
Emile was born in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. He later moved to British Columbia then to Edmonton in the early 2000’s and made it his final home. He did various work in BC. He mainly worked for the Rock and Tunnel Union doing various work for them. He also worked for Steve Pavich during haying season. When he moved to Alberta to find more work with the union there, he found work with the Rosslyn Inn & Suites as a general maintenance manager and it was his final employment there.
Emile enjoyed comedy, whether it was pranks or jokes, or remembering incidents that had been funny enough to laugh about with others. He loved America's Funniest Home Videos and cute animal antics. He loved watching The Voice and America's Got Talent. He also enjoyed crime and comedy dramas, and animal docu-series' like Doctor Pol. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family. Emile especially loved to eat the cooking of his sisters and sisters-in-law and loved to help others in what ways he could. He liked to repair things, either for others, or for himself and he kept himself busy. Emile enjoyed going out for walks, doing puzzles, and reading his paper. He also enjoyed yard work and had an affection for cats and dogs, whether it was petting them or teasing them. Emile once even rescued a turtle and a crow and loved having a bird feeder and watching the birds that came to enjoy the food.
