Ernie was the last born to a large family in England on March 1st, 1938. It is here that he earned his trade as a machinist. At 24 years of age, Ernest immigrated to Canada in 1962 accompanied with his wife Helen and first-born daughter Carol, to Edmonton, Alberta. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, easy going nature, and always having a smile on his face.
